Into The Blue
©1999
Lyrics by Sean Wiggins
Music by Wiggins, Helm, McConnell & Roe
I never believed in a bright pot of gold
Hadn’t put faith in the lies I’d been told
Put up my guard to hold back the world
I saw your face and I followed
Into the blue
Into the green
Into my life you swept like a breeze
And it’s true, it’s you that I need
And I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
Into the blue
Ooh worried, I couldn’t feel much
Brought back a smile when you brought back a touch
And I took a small step with the help of your hand
I could have wept as I followed
Into the blue
Into the green
Into my life you swept like a breeze
And it’s true, it’s you that I need
And I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow
Into the blue, green, you
Blue, green, it’s true
Don’t you know it’s you, I’ll follow through
Oh……………..
You couldn’t have picked a better time
I pinch myself to make sure that you’re mine
Maybe that’s how it was supposed to go
I sure was feeling mighty low
Today is today, tomorrow will come
I won’t turn away, cause I don’t fear the sun
And I thank you, thank you, for all that you’ve done
You’ll know the truth as I follow
Into the blue
Into the green
Into my life you swept like a breeze
And it’s true, it’s you that I need
And I’ll follow, I’ll follow, I’ll follow – Into The Blue
I’m Not Your Maid
©2007 Sean Wiggins
You say you've got troubles
Have way too much to do
No time for anything else
But things that revolve around you
You pitch a pretty good line
How you to get to work on time
But I've turned off your alarm and
11:00 doesn't seem much harm
Now I'm not trying to fight
or cause another sleepless night
I'm just stating my case
Making sure everything's in it's place
I'm not your slave your teacher or your maid
If that's the case I really should be paid
I'm not cheap you'd be broke in ‘bout a week
So baby here's your chance
or baby it's your last dance with me
I've got dinner on the table
But you don't think to call
Like you can't dial the numbers
Maybe you forgot them all
Took a break in the easy chair
Sat on your underwear
Guess you couldn't just pick them up
Must have been busy with other stuff
Now I'm not trying to fight
Or to cause another sleepless night
I'm just stating my case
Making sure everything's in it's place
I'm not your slave your teacher or your maid
If that's the case I really should be paid
I'm not cheap you'd be broke in bout a week
So baby here's your chance
or baby it's your last dance with me
Now I'm not asking for the world
It's not too complicated
I think respect's a word
That's way too underated
I'm not your slave your teacher or your maid
If that's the case I really should be paid
I'm not cheap you'd be broke in bout a week
So baby here's your chance
or baby it's your last dance with me
You know I love you baby
This was a sweet romance
But as you take my hand now
Realize it might be out last dance
Last dance
Watchin’ The World Go By
©2007
Lyrics by Sean Wiggins
Music by Sean Wiggins & Paul Houston
The day is hot, the sun is high
A little birdie just flew on by
Song's playing on the radio
Smooth, sexy and the right kind of slow
I'm watchin’, watchin’ the world go by
Filled up a frosty glass
Took a sip and made it last
I tell ya’ water never tasted so good
Wouldn't change this moment even if I could
I'm watchin’, watchin’ the world go by
7 days a week, tryin’ to make ends meet
Why even a gallon of gas is getting to be a pain in (ass)
Turned of my telephone
Gonna pretend that nobody's home
Lights are off - the blinds all drawn
I got the picnic blanket laid out on the lawn
I'm watchin’, watchin’ the world go by
7 days a week, tryin’ to make ends meet
Why even a gallon of gas is getting to be a pain in (ass)
I figure it's just one day
& if I'm wrong well I'll have to pay
Throwin’ in the towel from this rat race
Takin a break slowin’ down the pace
I'm watchin’, watchin’ the world go by
Cold Wind
©2007 Sean Wiggins
I’m hearing voices, stinging in my ear
Telling me all kinds of things I don’t really want to hear
I try not listening, going on doing what I gotta do anyhow
But the clock keeps ticking & Something says the time is now
Cuz there’s a
Cold wind blowing, cold wind blowing in my heart
Sometimes it’s a whisper, sometimes it’s a roar
Waking me from a nightmare,
saying that I really gotta ask for more
Time doesn’t necessarily heal. iIt just helps to forget
You’re starring in your own lifetime movie
& you haven’t seen the worst of it yet
Cuzz there’s a
Cold wind blowing, cold Wind blowing in my heart
Bridge
Don’t want to face reality, keeping my eyes wide shut
Losing every bit of my sanity,
I feel it down in my gut
Cuzz there’s a
Cold wind blowing, cold wind blowing in my heart
Maybe clouds will disappear, make everything work out
Yeah I still believe in miracles, it’s what life is all about
So it’s time I start to count
myself as number 1
& not wait for the curtain call to take it on the run
Cuzz there’s a
Cold wind blowing, cold Wind blowing in my heart
Crazy
©2007
Lyrics by Sean Wiggins
Music by Sean Wiggins, Paul Houston, Robert Dill, Jim Patterson
Here’s a story, might make you cry
It’s a story all about my life
Well my Momma, she chose the darker side
Made me grow up fast so I had no place to hide
Might sound like a really sad tale
And I’ve been told that I’m going to hell
Always walkin’ a little out of line
I might be crazy but I’m feelin’ fine
I tried college but it did not agree
Sleezy bars & night clubs that’s where I got my degree
Might sound like you’ve heard it before
But I’ll try to give a little bit more
Yea I’ve been livin’ on nothing but a dime
I might be crazy but I’m feelin’ fine
Got Married, had a ring
2 car garage, isn’t that everything
I went & threw it all away
Had big dreams, what can I say
Now what’s real when you’re living on a stage
Better to be happy than to act your age
Might sound like I’m out of touch
But it really doesn’t bother me much
Not thinking bout runnin’ out of time
I might be crazy but I’m feelin’
Always walkin’ a little out of line
I might be crazy but I’m feelin’ fine
Not thinking ‘bout runnin’ out of time
I might be crazy
Taking It Slow
©2007 Sean Wiggins
Feels like I'm looking thru a dirty window
Making it hard to see which way to go
Just when I think I've got itall figured out
I realize I really don't know
And that's how I've learned to take it slow
Feels like I’m walkin’ thru Grandma's molasses
In times of trouble it's just how time passes
Try to run but wind up standing still
I realize there's things I can't control
& that's how I've learned to take it slow
I've always wanted instant gratification
My way or the highway - no confrontation
But I've been lonely for too long
& I can't change the things I've done
Now that my eyes are open I can see
There's so much more to life than me
Maybe I'm hangin’ on to an illusion
Just to avoid major pain & confusion
But if in my heart I believe it's real
There’s no one can say it's not so
And that’s how I’ve learned to take it slow
You Done Me Wrong
©2007 Sean Wiggins
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
You’ll find your bags out on the porch tonight
Don't try to give that same song and dance
I have had enough and you've had your last chance
Don't try to argue I'm all out of fight
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
I saw your car parked at Alice's house
Tried to look in the window but the lights were all out
When you came home about eleven o'clock
You said the shop needed sweepin’ & you had to restock
I've been saving for a rainy day
& I’ve seen thunder clouds a headin’ my way
I didn't need to say one thing
Just took the car & pawned my wedding ring
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
You’ll find your bags out on the porch tonight
Don't try to give that same song and dance
I have had enough and you've had your last chance
Don't try to argue I'm all out of fight
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
Next there was Mabel she worked in the bar
It was those high heels & tube tops that filled her tip jar
I saw her riding on the back of your bike
Her skirt hiked up to her ears holdin’ way too tight
I've been saving for a rainy day
& I’ve seen thunder clouds a headin’ my way
I didn't need to say one thing
Just took the car & pawned my wedding ring
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
You’ll find your bags out on the porch tonight
Don't try to give that same song and dance
I have had enough and you've had your last chance
Don't try to argue I'm all out of fight
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
Funny I should be more upset
But I've had plenty of time to get over it
I don't think I'll even miss your face
I'm ready for some fun, find someone to take your place
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
You’ll find your bags out on the porch tonight
Don't try to give that same song and dance
I have had enough and you've had your last chance
Don't try to argue I'm all out of fight
You done me wrong so I'm doing you right
Old #7
©2007 Sean Wiggins
Some people think I'm a little high strung
But I like to believe I'm the type that gets things done
Got 3 dogs with mouths to feed
I’ve got a bunny & a bird, and 5 fish last I heard
Don't have much I don't know ‘bout you
& sometimes I get awfully blue
So I poor myself a glass & I try to make it last
It's that old #7, Gets ya’ bout half way to heaven
Here on earth that is
I don't take prosaic or those sorts a drugs
Seen what it does to my friends, it doesn’t impress me much
But I got problems like most people do
& my friends all have told me I’ve got a screw lose or two
Need a little help every now & then
& just to make sure I don't wind up in the pen
I make myself a drink so I don't have to think
It's that old #7, Gets ya’ bout half way to heaven
Here on earth that is
Some folks may think I am a lush
& I tell you it doesn’t really bother me much
I live my life by the golden rule
& I can tell ya I’m absolutely nobody’s fool
Keepin’ myself clean outta trouble
& I’ll call for cab if I start to see double
I throw back a shot cuz it's gonna hit the spot
It's that old #7, Gets ya’ bout half way to heaven
Here on earth that is
The Catchiest Song
©2007 Sean Wiggins
Well, it’s the catchiest song in the whole wide world
If you can sing along with every boy & girl
When you can snap your fingers and wiggle your toes
Why it’s the catchiest song everybody knows
One day my mom was awfully low
Rent was due and the car wouldn’t go
Had a feeling what might turn it around
I started singing and guess what I found
It’s a tune that made her smile
Simply true for man woman and child
She started to laugh dance and shout
So there's your proof and there ain’t no doubt
Well, it’s the catchiest song in the whole wide world
If you can sing along with every boy & girl
When you can snap your fingers and wiggle your toes
Why it’s the catchiest song everybody knows
One day my dad came home from work
Mumbling how his boss was a jerk
I knew I needed to turn it around
Put on the radio and guess what I found
It played the tune that made him smile
Simply true for man woman and child
He started to laugh, dance & shout
So there's your proof and there ain’t no doubt
Well, it’s the catchiest song in the whole wide world
If you can sing along with every boy & girl
When you can snap your fingers and wiggle your toes
Why it’s the catchiest song everybody knows

Mother oh mother I have a few questions on life
Is there god is there heaven Can you tell me does he have a wife
Daughter oh daughter I don’t think that I can reply
All of these questions on your own you’ll have to decide
If there’s more than the sea, more than the sky
There’s so much beyond me I just can’t imagine how high
There was a great woman who gathered around her a flock
She didn’t ask them to come but I tell you they sure learned a lot
A good man named Jesus, his wisdom the people did sew
Well I wish I could speak to him now cuz I really don’t know
If there’s more than the sea, more than the sky
There’s so much beyond me I just can’t imagine how high
Is there more than the earth, more than the air
There’s so much beyond my mind, I can’t see what’s already there
I’m questioning me; are you questioning you
There’s so many voices going ‘round in my mind I’m wondering if an answer or two
Might come through
Yesterday’s news came up with some curious things
I’m sure Darwin in his grave the man must truly be rolling
A fact was discovered Neanderthals weren’t mom & dad
Well that makes us search deeper & I know that can’t be all bad
If there’s more than the sea, more than the sky
There’s so much beyond me I just can’t imagine how high
More than the earth, more than the air
There’s so much beyond my mind I can’t see what’s already there
The Whole Enchilada
©2007 Sean Wiggins & Jeddrah Schmit
Once there was a boy named Jack
Had lots of money but he wasn’t all that
Bought me diamonds & bought me pearls
But in the end I’d never be his girl
I needed something better than that
I needed it all
He had the money but he still looked funny
So I didn’t answer that call
I want the whole enchilada
Not just a coke and an order of fries
I want the works; it’s time to super size me
No looks, no style, no money, no love
Next there was this guy named Gil
So good lookin’ he still gives me a chill
Heads turned when he took me out
Not too sharp when he opened his mouth
I wanted something more than that
I wanted it all
He had the looks, wish that was all that it took
So I didn’t answer that call
I want the whole enchilada
Not just a coke and an order of fries
I want the works; it’s time to super size me
No looks, no style, no money, no love
Then there was this man named Sam
He was pretty & witty in his rock ’n’ roll band
Almost perfect, there was just one thing
Those empty pockets wouldn’t get me no ring
I asked for something greater than that
I asked for it all
He had the style but couldn’t buy a thing with that smile
So I couldn’t answer that call
I want the whole enchilada
Not just a coke and an order of fries
I want the works; it’s time to super size me
No looks, no style, no money, no love
Always

I remember; bet you wouldn’t think so
From when I was just an inch past 2 feet tall
You held me on your hip like a big sack of potatoes
Wiped away my tears after a bad fall
But I don’t care to say goodbye
Cause you haven’t ever really left my side
Yes, always, always, you’ll be there to talk with me
An angel now, you’ll walk with me for Always
I grew older; we grew closer too
Sharing wine & conversation like two old friends
Your words were filled with wisdom heightened by the years
Your road was hard and filled with way too many dead ends
Your smile made me cry, it was sincere
Your laughter was like music to my ears
And …
Yes, always, always, you’ll be there to talk with me
An angel now, you’ll walk with me for Always
Your time was short, you had to go
But just in case you’re wondering I still love you so
Got to let you know
That …
Yes, always, always, you’ll be there to talk with me
An angel now, you’ll walk with me for Always
Cause I don’t care to say goodbye
